MD. M. Fatih KORKMAZ

Op.Dr. Mehmet Fatih Korkmaz who was born in 1985,in Elazığ, started his medical education at Elazig Fırat University Faculty of Medicine in 2002 and graduated in 2008. He worked as a physician in the provinces of Muş, Elazig, Kars and Batman. After working in Kars Kafkas University and Elazığ Fırat University Medical Faculty General Surgery Clinics in different periods in 2013, he completed his compulsory service in Bingöl province in 2018.

Dr. Korkmaz has specialized in obesity and diabetes surgery for more than 8 years. Korkmaz, who worked at Elazig University, which has the highest case volume in Turkey. Since 2020, he has been working at his own Obesity Surgery Clinic in Özel Hürrem Sultan Hospital in Üsküdar and also serves as the Chief Physician of the hospital. He has performed over 9,700 bariatric surgeries so far.
